Inspector Clueless is a cyberpunk noir spy theme about the insecurities of late capitalist image culture. Bleeps and bloops criss-cross a bumbling sleuth of a bassline, while an omnipotent and disembodied voice decries contemporary narratives about image, personhood and archetype. The track frames this disorientation with reference to a clueless inspector, beguiled by the complexity of the city and its myriad phantasmagorical mysteries.
